Working with the Head & Neck

Category : FightPod

In this week’s Podcast Emmanuel talks about working with the Head & Neck area. In most cases, students go to the head and neck area when all else fails – a default move of sorts. This does not need to be the case. With proper time, training and practice you will be able to utilize the head and neck like a true professional – with precision,  detail, and care.

Personal Workouts

Category : FightPod

In this weeks episode of FightPod Emmanuel talks about workouts. Attending regular train classes (1-3 times per week) is good, but you need some training time outside of class too. This way you can practice all the cool things you have learned, or work on things you would like to develop. Just showing up to classes and hoping to become good in flawed approach. Every athlete or artist I know puts in many hours outside of class time to hon there craft. Emmanuel talks about a few of his favourite too  http://www.fight-club.ca/personal-workouts/

Dealing with pushes from the back is something most of us have had to deal with at some point in life. Listen and watch – Emmanuel explain how Systema training utilizes and deals with this situation. Footage from Seminar in France in 2018. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy1cf0p5KgE
