Toronto Fightclub offers a full range of fitness training methods. Of the types of fitness training there are isotonic exercises, in which one pushes and pulls against resisting weight, strengthening the muscles during every aspect of movement.
Examples of this fitness training method are push-ups and squats. Another type of fitness training is isometric exercise, when one holds a weight steady against resistance. We use this fitness training method with push ups and squats as well. A popular exercise is "the plank" or holding the upward push-up position for extended periods. Finally, Toronto Fightclub uses a lot of plyometric routines. This type of fitness training involves explosive movements like jumping. Fitness training using this method helps teach the body to convert strength into power, allowing you to push further, jump higher, and move faster.
In each of the above fitness training methods, Toronto Fightclub seeks to improve functional strength and general health. Bulky, rigid muscles are not on the agenda. Toronto Fightclub fitness training methods are for people who need everyday fitness to lift groceries, care for children, and deal with chores. However, our fitness training methods will also improve sports conditioning and athleticism. Toronto can be a busy place; don't get left behind.
