It’s time to get on off the benches and onto the Mats!

June 26, 2018

Hey FC Parents,

I know you all see the value of keeping your kids active and healthy, but what about yourselves?

Life is busy these days and modern big city living so stressful. You need to take care of yourselves too!

On July 7th from 1-3pm please join me at FightClub for a very interesting look at health and fitness Systema Style. Even if your not currently physically active this workshop will help you. Money raised from this event will also be going to our local hospital – a great thing!

Hope to see you there,

emmanuel

A FightClub Workshop

FINDING FLOW

Are you free to move? Sounds like a simple question but from my experience, it’s not easy to answer. Our body and mind are capable of doing amazing things, but modern lifestyles and big city living has taken its toll on us. Add to this – stress, old injuries and we’re left stiff and rigid as a board.

Movement does wonders for us – both physically and mentally – leaving many professionals to say, “the better we move, the better we are”. When your body is truly free to move, it is able to experience a state known as ‘Flow’.

The experience of flow can be experienced in many different activities. If you’ve ever heard someone describe a time when their performance excelled as being “in the zone” what they’re describing is an experience of flow. It occurs when your skill level and the challenge at hand are equal.

I can help you to find your “flow”! On July 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. please join me for a one-of-a-kind experience that will benefit you on many levels. All proceeds from this workshop will go to the Michael Garron Hospital (formerly Toronto East General Hospital). Simply donate what you can. The workshop is open to FightClub students, their friends, and family.

I hope to see you on July 7th.
