Emmanuel Shoots for Gold!

Canadian National & Provincial Indoor Archery Championships 2023

The 2023 Indoor Archery Season has finally come to an end. Countless hours of practice and thousands of arrows shot into targets have taught me so much about this simple but beautiful sport. I competed in 6 tournaments in total from January till March and within two divisions – compound and compound unlimited. The tournaments begin regionally then progress to provincial and national levels. This years I have shot some of my best scores receiving gold and silver medals at the provincials (February 19th) and gold and silver medals at the nationals (March 5th). I learned so much this year, it’s hard to put into words all the different ways archery has touched my entire life and what a wonderful teacher it has become for me. Taking a short break to enjoy my accomplishments before I start to prepare for the outdoor season.
