YOUTH SYSTEMA WINTER GAMES SCHEDULE

Jan 30 & Feb 1

Massage – Body Rolls (Up and down)

Stretching - Static Stretches (on the floor)

Breathing - Pendulum Breathing (In/Out)

Movement – Walk to Run (Slow to Fast)

Balance – On one leg

Strength - 25 Push-ups, 25 Squats, 25 Leg Raises and 25 Body Raises

Feb 6 & 8

Massage – Using your hands (Up and down)

Stretching – Static Stretches (Using the wall)

Breathing – Triangle Breathing (In/Out/Hold)

Movement – Ground to Walk to Run to ground (Slow to Fast)

Balance – Using Short Sticks

Strength - 30 Push-ups, 30 Squats, 30 Leg Raises and 30 Body Raises

Feb 13 & 15

Massage – Using your feet (Up and down)

Stretching – Dynamic Stretches (movement based)

Breathing – Square Breathing (In/hold/Out/Hold)

Movement – Synchro Moving (with a partner)

Balance – Using Long stick (with a partner)

Strength - 40 Push-ups, 40 Squats, 40 Leg Raises and 40 Body Raises

Feb 22 & 27

Massage – Using a Stick (Up and down)

Stretching – Partner assisted Stretches

Breathing – Breath Holds (10-30 seconds)

Movement –Stillness in motion

Balance – Handstands

Strength – Push-ups, Squats, Leg Raises and Body Raises (2-minute +)


March 1st – Certificate and Medal Presentation
